1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the app experience.

Your Content Stays On Your Device

Your tasks, schedule, focus sessions, and related content are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage. If you are signed in to iCloud, this content may sync across your devices through your own private iCloud account. We do not operate servers that store your task content, and we cannot read it.

Automatically Collected Information

• Device type and model
• Operating system version
• App usage data (e.g., features used, session duration)
• General location (country-level only, if available)

This information does not directly identify you.

App Permissions

We may request access to certain device features:

• Notifications, to deliver reminders and nudges you enable
• Calendar (EventKit), only if you turn on calendar sync, to read and display your events alongside your schedule

You can control all permissions in your device settings.

We do NOT collect:

• Personal identifiers like name (unless explicitly provided)
• Data from third-party databases or marketing partners
• Your task content, calendar content, or schedule on our servers

2. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use the following third-party services to operate and improve the app:

Microsoft Clarity

We use Microsoft Clarity for session analytics, which may record anonymized interaction data such as taps, scrolls, and screen views. This helps us understand how users interact with the app and improve the experience. No personally identifiable information is captured. Clarity's privacy policy is available at clarity.microsoft.com/privacy.

Apple

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account; we never receive your payment details. Optional cross-device sync is handled by Apple iCloud under Apple's privacy policy.

These services operate under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not use any of them for advertising or cross-app tracking.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use collected data to:

• Operate and maintain the app
• Improve performance and user experience
• Fix bugs and ensure reliability

We do NOT use your data for:

• Selling to third parties
• Advertising or tracking across apps

4. DATA SHARING

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may share limited data only when necessary:

• To comply with legal obligations
• To protect user safety or prevent fraud
• With third-party service providers listed in Section 2, solely to operate the app

5. DATA RETENTION

Because your content is stored on your device, you remain in control of it. Deleting the app removes the locally stored data from that device. Content synced through iCloud is managed by your Apple account and can be removed from your iCloud settings. Anonymized analytics are retained only as long as necessary to understand and improve the app.

6. DATA SECURITY

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no system can guarantee 100% security.

7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Tether is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access your data
• Request deletion (your content can be removed by deleting the app and clearing iCloud data)
• Restrict processing

9. DO-NOT-TRACK

We do not currently respond to Do-Not-Track signals.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
